A recent letter to the editor in our local Athens News drew my attention to a story of two FBI men in West Virginia who allegedly moved a video camera in order to watch high school students try on prom dresses this past April.

The normally sweeping camera was positioned on girls undressing for a period of 90 minutes but according to Sutton's (one of the men charged) attorney, Sutton "didn't see any of the girls nude". The comment is preceded by the idea that because Sutton is a Christian, a husband and a father he is obviously incapable of commiting sexual assault. While both men are innocent until proven guilty, the notion that Christians, husbands and/or fathers do not commit sexual assault would be laughauble, except for that fact that nothing about sexual violence is funny.
